The AY McDonald 203-257 Legend S-670 combines a 1-1/2 in. PVC check valve and an isolation ball valve in one serviceable assembly. During normal operation, the check section allows flow in the intended direction and closes to help limit reverse movement. The attached ball valve can then isolate the check section when it needs to be inspected, cleaned, or removed, reducing the need to shut down or replace a larger section of piping.

A true-union configuration supports removal of the valve assembly from compatible Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC piping. The unit is rated 75 W.O.G. at 72°F with a maximum listed service temperature of 140°F and can be installed horizontally or vertically when the application permits. Confirm the flow direction, pipe schedule, pressure, temperature, solvent-cement requirements, and service fluid before installation.
