Product Overview
The Armada Technologies PRO66 is a fiberglass tracking rod that gives a compatible underground locator a conductive path to follow through PVC, vinyl, and other non-metallic pipe or conduit. The approximately 100 ft rod is pushed into the pipe, then connected to a locator transmitter through the 4 mm banana-jack receptacle. A receiver can trace the energized rod from above ground, helping map a route that would otherwise be invisible to an electromagnetic locator.
The 3 mm rod can travel through pipe as small as 1/2 in. when bends remain within the stated radius. Listed detection is up to 5 ft along the rod and up to 7 ft at the sonde tip with suitable compatible equipment. The PRO66 is an accessory only and does not include the transmitter or receiver.
